Good morning friends!!! Welcome to Day 1 of the 5-Day Fall Cleanse.
Sherrie and I are so excited to read about how many of you will be joining us this week. If you aren’t able to join us this week, feel free to join in when you can. We will be sharing recipes and ideas throughout the week, so bookmark everything and come back to it when you are able.
Below is a quick recipe roundup to help get you started and to get your creative cleansing juices (or smoothies) flowing! No need to complicate things, eat what is most fresh and easily available to you. That will be different for all of us, based on where we live. Use this list as a reference for meal ideas and also make sure to follow myself and Sherrie on our respective Facebook and Instagram pages (see below), where we will sharing what we are eating throughout this process. I also may be updating this list throughout the week as we share recipes and come across recipes from other sites that we love, so stay tuned.

AWESOME list! If I only I could have a personal chef come over & make me everything, that would be great.
You rock for putting this together Beth.
I did not know this is how you ate on a cleanse…I could totally do this one!
Girl you know I wouldn’t be cleansing if I couldn’t have some yummies! I can’t do the juice or smoothie only cleanses, that is not my thing. Check out the post with what I am eating and what I am avoiding, it’s really not all that crazy. It’s just about being mindful and cutting out the bad stuff that I don’t need so I can reset my body!
Hi Beth,
Are nut butters allowed on this cleanse? And are you limiting caloric intake or just watching what you eat (ie.are snacks allowed in between meals)?
Thanks! Survived day 1!
I don’t plan to have any nut butters on this cleanse but if you were going to I would personally only consume nut butters if you make them yourself or if you know that there is literally only organic nuts in them. Personally I am limiting my nut consumption to one serving a day or less and only when soaked, since that is much easier on your digestion.
I don’t count calories, really ever, so I am just using the guide for what to avoid and I am being mindful of how much I am consuming in general. I am all about intuitive eating, so if you are hungry, have a snack. I notice I have trigger times in the day that I look to snack and it almost never has to do with hunger and almost always has to do with boredom or something emotional. So glad you are joining us. Hope you are feeling good after day 1.
Hi! I’m new around here and am loving all these recipes!! Thanks for providing so many healthy ideas. I’ve just pinned a ton of them.
On a side note the link to this: Carrot, Cumin and Ginger Soup by, Not Quite Nigella is accidentally linking to the recipe below it, just thought I’d let you know.
Thanks again, love your blog!!
Hi Sarah! Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment!! So glad you are linking the recipes. Thanks so much for letting me know about the broken link. Fixing it now 😉
Great Information Tastyyummies,
I found you pinterest and I will be starting your cleanse as soon as pick up all my items at the grocery store. Awesome information! I will also be sharing it with friends. Please keep info coming. Will come back and share how I feel after doing the 30 days.
hello, I am new to the cleansing world and have really been feeling yucky lately. is there an outline of what to eat on what day for this 5 day cleanse or do you just mix and match the recipes as you like?
Hi ladies!
