I skipped my photo post last week inadvertently, the weeks just fly by way too fast for me. Here are the last two weeks of fun. Hey by the way, how the heck is it June already?
We have had a handful of events we did for work the past few weeks and we’ve been squeezing in fun where we can. My parents get here a week from today, so we are working like crazy to be able to take off as much time as we can while they are here. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THEM!
We have two events this weekend where we will be vending at, Silverlake Art Craft & Vintage and the Rose Bowl Flea, if you happen to find yourself at either one, come on by and say Hi!
A super yummy post-run green smoothie. Check out the recipe on my Instagram.
Our booth setup for Patchwork Fair in Santa Ana two weekends ago.
A backyard BBQ wouldn’t be complete with a fun teepee!
We played some board games at our little Memorial Day BBQ. This was a fun one. What’s your favorite board game?
I love the amazing sun our deck gets for the first half of the day. I love practicing out there.
My handsome boy Jpeg.
I made us a super yummy brunch over the weekend. Sweet potato and kale hash with two farm fresh eggs from our CSA.
Now this is lunch!! That roll was delicious. Do you like sushi?
Awww poor Seri had to get a bath. She’s actually quite good about it and I think she secretly loves it since we fawn all over her and spoil her extra hard afterward.
Mark is loving the new grill. Obviously so is he sous chef!
Grilled marinated artichokes. My new obsession. Look for the recipe next week sometime.
I am all setup to compost finally. I am so excited. Do you compost? Share your tips in the comments if you do. I am a newbie!
More info on that book I am reading in my side bar ——>
Is this not the most kissable snout you’ve ever seen. Seriously there is very little in the world that can make me as happy as this does.

This could be your best Photo Fun Day Friday yet! You can’t post enough pictures of Seri and jpeg as far as I’m concerned and these are the most cutest ever! It’s so good to be able to ‘share’ in your settling into your new life, try new recipes, and keep up with you guys’ world–thanks so much! xoLinda
Aww thanks Linda. I am obviously obsessed with our pets. Now if I could just get our other cat, Indie, to sit still long enough or come out of hiding, so she can also be “internet famous” too, that’d be really fun 🙂
I love artichokes. I’m going to have some this week-end! Nice pictures!
Thanks me too! Again 😉 Thank you!
Congrats on the compost!!!!
I LOVE IT!
I grew up in Europe and almost everyone there has a compost in their gardens! It is such a cool and helpful thing to have!
I hope more Americans would see the benefit of it! So, spread the word, Beth!
Thank you!
Love your blog!

OMG …. I’ve been looking for an artichoke recipe. Grilled artichoke??? I had no idea that could be done. I am going to browse through your blog and see if you have a recipe for stuffed artichoke without the bread – gluten free.
We played Scrabble and Sequence games. Both of them are fun and can be played with up to 4 people. My goal this summer is to attack Monopoly. It is a long game but fun to do over a couple of days.
HAPPY SUMMER … and shows.
