Hey all, happy weekend to you! Hope everyone is well. It’s been a busy couple of weeks here. Lots of house guests, lots of events and lots of living/loving life! Here are some snaps from the last 2+ weeks! Hope you enjoy.
Our booth at the Abbot Kinney Fest a few weekends ago
End of day cuddles. The best kind.
Even more adorable bananas from our tree.
Prepping samples for my cooking demo last weekend at the Patchwork Edible Show.
Love this seasonal Kombucha from Health Ade and their beautiful bottle design.
Look at me. My name in lights chalk.
Here I am. My first ever cooking demo. I didn’t die of nervousness and I am even smiling. Now I can’t wait to do it again.
The Grain-free Pumpkin Pie Mini Tarts that I made at my demo. Guys, I even used a piping bag.
Me and the lovely Kelly from The Spunky Coconut
Getting setup for my preserved lemons workshop at Patchwork Edible.
SO nice to have a food-blogger house guest. For once I didn’t have to cook my own breakfast. Kelly made us all a feast of sausage and grain-free pancakes.
Myself with Kelly and Meg from Beard and Bonnet. So nice to have two other gluten-free food bloggers that moved to California this year, as well. I feel like a pretty lucky lady.
Love my beautiful handmade ceramic dishes from our neighbor at Patchwork Andrea Luna Reece. You will likely be seeing these in lots of my food photos.
Went kayaking yesterday with Mark, my cousin Andrea and her boyfriend, Mike, who are visiting from NY.

Nice pics! 🙂 They’re full of sun, well-being and kind of it’s-summer-holiday feeling… I’m lying in my bed now with a huge cold, the weather is unpleasant but your photos cheered me up a lot 🙂
It was fun getting to see your setting and see some of the others I read at your place. So CA seems a good fit for you. I live in No CA and love it! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful pictures as usual!
I have to say those are some of the cutest babies I have ever seen!
Wow these were awesome…I so enjoyed them! Congrats on diving into demoing you looked so natural no one would ever know you were a newbie or nervous…I think that where practicing yoga pays off big time …really helps keep centered. I adored seeing your fabulous fur babies…and your awesome bounty of Bananas too! Thanks for the fun treat…boy those pumpkin tarts were calling my name but got to wait a bit, no nightshades for now;( Stay Blessed!
Hi Beth, great photo’s as usual. I’m still waiting for sun over my way, it seems like as soon as Spring hit Winter decided to join us. I have another stupid question so please bear with me, I was wondering if the pumpkin recipes you use are the ones you carve at Halloween? We have a huge range of pumpkins but none I would like to really use in some of your recipes. We have American Pumpkins in store now for carving and I was wondering double the use for the flesh or even the seeds, if not I’ll just google what variety is best for your sweeter recipes
Thanx for sharing! Such lovely Pumpkin Tarts! and those Bananas are adorable!
