I have been busy bad and I totally spaced on my Photo Fun Day Friday posts the last couple of weeks, so this is a bigger one than usual. I flew home to Buffalo this past weekend for the first time since we moved to Southern California six months ago! It was my niece Teagan’s 4th birthday and I hadn’t seen her since we left at the end of February. I missed her (and everyone) sooo much! It was a wonderful trip home, I crammed in as much time with friends and family as I could and just enjoyed every single bit of it.
My happy place! The yoga studio here in Long Beach I currently practice at.
A bench at the dog park. Love this.
I cleaned like crazy two weekends ago and it felt great. When I was done I had to snap a few pics, I am in love with this house.
My running partner. She especially loves running on the beach.
I finally found a place for my prayer flags. My parents bought these for me and they are the same ones as my favorite yoga studio in Buffalo, East Meets West. These remind me of home.
Bounty from our garden.
Me forward folding. One of my favorite yoga poses!
The girls soaking up the sun.
More figs. I cannot believe how many figs we are getting from this tree.
Grilled pizzas with figs, caramelized shallots, goat cheese and then I topped them with wild arugula when they came off. Look for a recipe soon.
My first full day back to Buffalo, was spent on my Uncle Pete’s boat. What a lovely way to see my city!
Grain mills. Buffalo, NY
Me and my sister, Vicky.
Family!
My adorable niece Teagan at her Minnie Mouse themed birthday party. We got her the dress and ears from Disneyland and she loved them.
“I’m sad because my party is over” – Teagan
Enjoying auntie time!!
My lovely.
Me and my friend Erika!
After an amazing yoga class with my friend Elyssa, I grabbed lunch from Globe Market and had a solo picnic at Delaware Park.
Minnie Mouse tea party with Teagan. Missing this girl already!

Your CA house is gorgeous! Glad you enjoyed your visit back to Bflo. Too bad you missed the Elmwood Festival!
Thanks so much Beth! I had a wonderful trip, just wish it was for longer. I was in town during the Elmwood Festival but was avoiding all that craziness and enjoying the quiet time with my family instead.
I am madly in love with your house!!! Also your doggies are so cute!!!!
Thanks Stefanie, we are very very grateful for this home! It is perfect. Only the bull terrier, Seri is ours. Lucy on the left, is our friends pup, who we were dogsitting 😉 They are the cutest though, that’s for sure.
Figs & an avocado ?! (Is that an avocado?!) I’m so jealous!!
Love the photo of your fav yoga pose :))

Yup!! All from our garden and trees! Thanks Crista 😉
Were you that flexible before you started yoga? How long did it take you to nail that pose? It’s impressive!
PS SO jealous about your figs. I am in LOVE with fresh figs (especially the Black Mission ones), and yours look AWESOME!
Ah! East Meets West is my favorite studio in Buffalo too – I always try to make a class when I’m home (and go to Amy’s Place too).
You are so lucky to have a fig tree in your garden! I´m jealous because i love figs 🙂 sexiest fruit!
And the avocado is the icing on the cake! The photo of you folding forward is beautiful too!
