Beth Manos Brickey began practicing yoga over 9 years ago in her hometown of Buffalo, New York. Yoga was at first, a means to heal her physical imbalances and to create a stronger mind / body connection, but yoga also introduced to Beth, confidence and acceptance of her body as well as a much needed stillness, from her busy life and active mind. This inner peace and calmness brought with it, a strong connection of mind, body and spirit that she soon found herself craving.
Beth teaches mindful, dynamic, flow-based vinyasa classes with a strong awareness on alignment. Her flow classes focus on technical precision with a lot of information to take your yoga practice to the next level. Though her classes contain a lot of movement and have a strong flow, you can expect to find the pace slowed down enough that you can comprehend the cues of precise alignment and breath awareness, to properly link the movement to your breath and reap the full benefits of your practice.
Beth received her advanced teaching credentials (500 hr RYT) through American Yoga School in Venice Beach, CA under James Brown’s instruction.
