YOGA

 

I began practicing yoga over 10 years ago in my hometown of Buffalo, New York. Yoga was at first, a means to heal my physical imbalances and to create a stronger mind / body connection, but yoga also introduced to me, confidence and acceptance of my body, as well as a much needed stillness, from my busy life and active monkey mind. This inner peace and calmness brought with it, a strong connection of mind, body and spirit that I soon found myself craving and wanting to understand on a deeper level.

I teach mindful, dynamic, flow-based vinyasa classes with a strong awareness on alignment. My flow-based classes focus on technical precision with a lot of information to take your yoga practice to the next level. Though my classes contain a lot of movement and have a strong flow, you can expect to find the pace slowed down enough that you can comprehend the cues of precise alignment and breath awareness, to properly link the movement to your breath and reap the full benefits of your practice.

I received my advanced teaching credentials (500 hr RYT) through American Yoga School in Venice Beach, CA under James Brown’s instruction.
