Sarah Bakes Gluten Free Treats Pumpkin Round Up

Pumpkin season, I mean Fall, is my favorite season of the year! The crisp air outside, the leaves changing colors, and the abundance of pumpkin goodies coming out of my kitchen. It warms my heart to bake up a batch of pumpkin cookies or a loaf of warm pumpkin bread. The smell alone gets me every time, but it is that glorious pumpkin flavor that just can’t get enough of!

My name is Sarah and I’m the baker/blogger over at Sarah Bakes Gluten Free Treats. I’ve had a love for baking for as long as I can remember and for the past 3 years, I’ve been baking 100% gluten free! My husband has celiac disease and my son and I both have a gluten allergy. A lot of my baking is also dairy and egg free. It was quite the adventure, learning how to transition over to gluten free baking. There have been highs and lows, but it has been an amazing journey. Beth has invited me to share a few of my favorite gluten free vegan pumpkin recipes with you today. I hope you enjoy!

You can check out Beth’s pumpkin recipe round up post over on my site here.

I have a deep, deep love for cookies. Besides cupcakes (my weakness), I always choose cookies when I have an itch for baking. These pumpkin chocolate chip cookies have great texture from the pumpking and the gluten free. Plus, the mix of cinnamon and chocolate…it’s simply perfection.

Nothing says “I love you” more to my husband, than a loaf of pumpkin bread. He is easy to please with my gluten free treats. I love this bread because it is so simple to make and the end result is a beautiful loaf of pumpkin yumminess. This would make a great gift for the holidays when you are wanting to share homemade goodies with your family and friends!

gluten free vegan pumpkin cheesecake
There were many desserts that I never thought I would be able to enjoy again after I went gluten and dairy free. I was deeply saddened when I tried to imagine my life without cheesecake. Oh, sweet luxurious cheesecake. The first time I attempted a dairy free cheesecake using raw cashews, I was completely amazed! It was so creamy, dreamy and delicious. This pumpkin cheesecake has everything you love about the classic cheesecake, but has such a deeper flavor. Embrace the dairy free cheesecake. You won’t be disappointed.

gluten free vegan pumpkin spice cupcakes
I’ve saved the best for last. The first time I made these pumpkin spice cupcakes was for my friend’s baby shower. All of the girls couldn’t believe that these were gluten, egg and dairy free. So moist and topped with what I believe is truly the best vegan buttercream ever. There is no need to wait for a special occasion or celebration to give this recipe a try. Everyday is a good day to bake cupcakes!

How perfect does that pumpkin bread look?! I’m a sucker for raw cheesecake too so I bet I’d love this pumpkin version.

Sarah, you mentioned pumpkin pie spice in the directions yet it isn’t listed as an ingredient….how much do we use?

Vicki, which recipe are you referring to? Also, it may be fast to comment right on the post on Sarah’s site, as she is probably far more likely to see it there.
