Maple Bourbon Sour
Serves: 1
gluten-free, grain-free, nut-free, dairy-free, vegetarian
  • 2 - 3 oz bourbon (depending on how strong you like it)
  • 1½ ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 pasture-raised egg white
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (you can certainly use more if you want it sweeter)
  • Dash orange bitters
  • ice
  1. Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker. Shake enthusiastically for about 1 minute – the mixture will become very frothy. Add ice, and shake again for 20-30 seconds.
  2. Strain into an old fashioned or coupe glass. If some of the froth remains in the shaker just scoop it into your drink with a spoon.
  3. Garnish how you'd like
