How-to Make Restaurant Style Salsa

If you caught my Tutorial Tuesday post this week on how to make the best homemade salsa ever, you have definitely been waiting for this post! Today I am super excited to be partnering with Blendtec on this amazing giveaway. One lucky Tasty Yummies reader will take home their very own Blendtec Designer 725 Blender + Twister Jar.

As I mentioned in the salsa post, this high speed blender is life changing!! I really mean it. I seriously didn’t know what I was missing out on with these run of the mill blenders I have been using all these years.

How-to Make Restaurant Style Salsa

Why Do I Love My Blendtec So Much?

Honestly, I didn’t realize just what a crappy job my other blenders had been doing all these years until I started using the Blendtec. You guys, did you know that smoothies do not have to have little chunks in them? As someone who puts her blender through the ringer, I have to say, it is incredible what this Blendtec can handle. Frozen dates in my smoothies are no longer chunky little bits that get caught in the straw. Homemade salad dressings are smooth and creamy, no hunks of garlic or big blobs of fresh herbs. Oh and nut butters are a breeze and I have even used it to grind homemade flour (look for that post next week).

It’s fast, it’s powerful and it cleans up so easily. A few drops of soap right after you are done blending, a little warm water and use the “Clean” setting. BAM, done! Honestly, I kinda feel like I have my own little robot friend in this Blendtec. It talks to me (well not literally, but it displays little messages), it encourages me, tells me how many blends I’ve done, suggests that I tweet about my blender, it even warns me if something isn’t right. It’s just smarter than your average blender. I can down with all that.

Blendtec Giveaway. Designer 725 + Twister jar

What’s a Twister Jar?

The Twister Jar. is designed to blend your thickest recipes, such as nut butters, hummus, baby food, dips, thick shakes, dressings and more!

To use the jar, simply add ingredients and twist the lid counter-clockwise while the blend cycle is running. This twisting motion forces the ingredients from the sides of the jar back into the blade, allowing you to achieve a perfect blend every time.

Also included is the Spectacula™ spatula—engineered specifically for the Twister. We made this spatula just the right length and shape so you can get nearly every morsel out of your jar.

Can’t believe it is still going ( its ulgy green) but it does a terrible job and sounds like an airplane taking off. I used to use my old Blendtec Classic to blend from little things to big things, dissolving sugar for water kefir, making rice and quinoa flour, souces, ice cream, almond butter, tahini, batters, soups and of course delicious smoothies and coconut milk. Made my life easier, used less time in the kitchen and made less mess. I miss my Blendtec a lot 🙁

Beth, you are by far among my top 5 food bloggers! I was so excited to see you offering this giveaway.
